In the past three years I have experienced very poor quality from expensive brands and after reading positive reports of Haix decided to try a pair. They are extremely well constructed and feel very much fit for purpose - they clearly follow the philosophy of function before design (style) but thats a good thing. Initially fairly unyielding but after a week of daily use they are now very comfortable and totally impervious to the elements with excellent grip in muddy slippery conditions. Top marks to Haix.
