Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. The men's model of the HAIX Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid is produced on a wider last to give wider feet more room in the shoe. There are no visual or functional differences here.
The men's model is recommended for wider feet due to the fit.
The Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid has a quick-release fastener with which the lacing can be quickly fixed. The lacing is easily tucked away in the flap, so that the hold is guaranteed during the working day.
The Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully placed on the work.
While the Athletic models have a somewhat plainer colour scheme, Adventure models are designed with bright, eye-catching colours. There are no functional differences.
The shoes not only have exceptional functionality and fit, but also a striking design.
As a leisure shoe, the Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 GTX mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Great shoe
I use Haix safety shoes at work and they are so good, I decided to get some more for walking the dog. These are super comfy straight out of the box. They are waterproof when walking in wet g… I use Haix safety shoes at work and they are so good, I decided to get some more for walking the dog. These are super comfy straight out of the box. They are waterproof when walking in wet grass and through puddles, I gave them a thorough testing by standing in a stream which fully submerged most of the boot for a couple of minutes. One of my feet did get slightly damp but I don't think these are designed for submersion really! I bought the same size as all my other shoes and they fit well. I am impressed overall with the exceptional comfort and their water resistance. Miles better than my old walking boots!
