Your questions, our honest answers
Different insoles are available for Nature One GTX high to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.

The Nature One GTX high is made with as few seams as possible. The shoes therefore have almost no potential fault lines, allowing you to walk through thorny undergrowth without worries.
The shoes can be used in different terrains without hesitation.
The rubber edge strip of the Nature One GTX high provides stability and protects against spikes or stones. It therefore prevents unpleasant pressure points on the foot.
The shoes can be used for all hiking or hunting activities without annoying restrictions.
The Nature One GTX high is an all-season model, so it can be worn both in summer and winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane. With the help of our Climate System, moisture is transported from the inside of the shoe to the ventilation openings. This prevents sweat from accumulating, especially in the warmer months.
The Nature One GTX high defies both colder and warmer temperatures.
The Nature One GTX high can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.
The uncomplicated Nature One GTX high ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
As a leisure shoe, the Nature One GTX high does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the Nature One GTX high to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Nature One GTX high is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Great Boots
Have worn them on plenty of occasions, and have done the job very well. The one criticism I would have is, that even with loosening the lower half of the laces, only possible because of their lacing system, I still feel a tightness across the top of my feet occasionally (could just be my feet as I am disabled)....and really can't understand why.....I'd defo buy again, although I'd expect to get a good few years out of the boots.....my last much cheaper boots lasted me 15yrs, and I wore then all the time (of course I had to get them resoled a few times).

Fantastic Boots

Purchased this pair as my first simply because my hiking boots needed replaced. Delighted with my choice, the boots are comfortble from the first time you put them on your feet, super supportive, the two zone lacing works extremely well and leaves the boot adjustable depending on conditions under foot. Have used them a fair amount since purchasing and really cant fault them to date. They are pricey enough as boots go but well worth every penny in my opinion. My next pair of wook boots will most definately be a Haix boot when they require repalcing!!!! Super product!!
