The Protector Alpin has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Protector Alpin to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.

The rubber edge strip of the Protector Alpin provides stability and protects against spikes or stones. It therefore prevents unpleasant pressure points on the foot.
The shoes can be used for all hiking or hunting activities without annoying restrictions.
The construction and boot design of the Nature Two GTX allows you to use crampons. They are therefore suitable for use on slopes or rough terrain.

The Protector Alpin can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.

The replaceable claw element of the Protector Alpin in the joint area of the sole prevents lateral slipping on branches and twigs. It provides additional stability and safety.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Protector Alpin is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Le laçage en 2 secteurs Parfait ! .... Je reviens dans 1 ans pour la suite ..... Bravo à toutes les équipes de Haix pour la réalisation de tels chaussures . 🙏

Absolut zufrieden
Der Schuh war zunächst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber nachdem ich begriffen hatte wie er funktioniert passte er einwandfrei und wurde direkt 8 Stunden getragen in nassem Wald, rutschigen Bau… Der Schuh war zunächst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber nachdem ich begriffen hatte wie er funktioniert passte er einwandfrei und wurde direkt 8 Stunden getragen in nassem Wald, rutschigen Baumstämmen (Eschenmikado -Windbruch) beim Stämme rücken und Schneiden. Ich bin nicht einmal gerutscht (!). Trotz des schlammigen Waldbodens setzte sich die Sohle nicht zu. Mit der Wasserfestigkeit / Dichtheit bin ich auch zufrieden, Bachquerung - kein Problem. Keine Druckschmerzen, äußerste Stabilität nach vorn und hint, Ferse, Sprunggelenk wie einbetoniert trotzdem sehr guter Tragekomfort! Ausserdem entsteht keine übermäßige Staunässe durch Schweiss im Schuh. Also ich bin rundum zufrieden. Ich habe absichtlich, nachdem ich die online Beschreibung ausführlich gelesen hatte, eine halbe Größe mehr gewählt (46.5) und das war die richtige Entscheidung. Die Zehen haben vorn ausreichend Platz und der Schuh sitzt wie angegossen. Weiter so, klasse Produkt!

Top quality. Excellent boots. Perfect fit. As usual HAIX never let me down. Expensive but if you want something professional and to never let you down this is the perfect choice. Totally waterproof and breathable. Probably the best boots ever.

These boots are expensive but you pay for what you get. They are true to size but I did buy an optional insole afterwards from Haix & the fit is excellent. They are comfortable from the first day but also very stiff. After a week they started to give a bit more but just persevere. As soon as you see these boots you know they are quality. Will update further in about six months but would highly recommend

Der beste Schuh
Habe den Schuh seit 3 Jahren täglich im harten Forsteinsatz am Steilhang. Ich hatte nie Probleme mit der Passform oder Druckstellen. Er gibt einem bei jeder Witterung einen festen Stand und gibt dem Fuß ein sicheres Gefühl. Nach 3 Jahren löst sich an stark beanspruchten Stellen leicht der Geröllrand, was nach dieser Zeit völlig in Ordnung ist. Ein super Schuh und werde ihn mir aufjedenfall wieder zulegen.

Guter Schuh
Schuh hat einen guten tragekomfort wo man länger benötigt ist mit der Einstellung der Lasche weil die drückt sonst im Zehen Bereich. Und beim längerren sitzen beginnt er trozdem zu drücken aber im Gelände würde ich ihn nicht wieder hergeben da tritt nur der pure tragekomfort zu.
