Waterproof thanks to GORE-TEX®
Your feet stay dry and you stay healthy because the Scout 3.0 is permanently waterproof and extremely breathable. This is ensured by the three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane throughout the lining of the Scout 3.0.
Optimal hold thanks to 2-zone lacing
The Scout 3.0 adapts perfectly to your foot in both the instep and the shaft area, so that it offers you optimal support. This is ensured by 2-Zone Lacing, an innovative 2-zone lacing system for foot and upper.
Extra slip-resistant with VIBRAM
You'll stand securely in the Scout 3.0 as it smooths your path on rough terrain. The sole of the Scout 3.0 has an optimal rubber compound and is therefore particularly slip-resistant, stable and stiff. This is the VIBRAM effect incorporated into the sole of the Scout 3.0.
Secure hold thanks to anti-slip
The Scout 3.0 gives you stability in every position. To protect you against skidding, the sole of the Scout 3.0 with its special rubber compound and innovative tread construction offers extremely high slip resistance and grip on a wide variety of surfaces.
The plus in safety
Additional protection for your feet: the safety protectors in your Scout 3.0 protect you from injuries in the ankle area.
Relieving cushioning with HAIX absorption
You'll experience a comfortable feel in the Scout 3.0 even when you're out for several hours. Because the integrated cushioning wedge inside cushions your steps. We call this HAIX Absorption: for drive even on long working days.
Breathable with Climate System
In the Scout 3.0 your foot can breathe, because a special foam system ensures that the air circulates in the shoe and moisture can escape. The Climate System works like an air conditioning system in a shoe.
Precise fit thanks to special lasts
The right shoe for your feet. Thanks to specially designed lasts, your Scout 3.0 fits perfectly and provides ultimate wearing comfort, the whole day long.
The Scout 3.0 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Scout 3.0 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The main difference between women's and men's models of Scout 3.0 is in the fit. The women's model is produced on a narrower last to give narrow feet more room in the shoe. The men's model, on the other hand, is produced on a wider last to provide more room for wider feet. However, there are no visual or functional differences between the two models.
Recommendation: If you have narrow feet, we recommend the women's model as it is specifically tailored to this fit. If you have wider feet, we recommend the men's model to ensure a comfortable fit.
You can find all the right spare parts for our shoes on our spare parts page.
We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
The eyelets have been optimized and are now even more durable and long-lasting. Additionally, the Scout 3.0 features an ankle protection that provides you with an even better and safer grip.
