Different insoles are available for Trekker Pro 2.0 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Trekker Pro 2.0 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Trekker Pro 2.0 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Trekker Pro 2.0 is a classic for all those who do not want to compromise on safety. The thick bull leather provides the necessary robustness, the torsionally stiff sole provides sufficient grip. For anyone who needs a secure shoe even on somewhat uneven terrain or slopes.

The Trekker Pro 2.0 is an all-season model, so it can be worn in both summer and winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane and with the help of our Sun Reflect System, it deflects sunlight so that heating can be minimised.

Your Trekker Pro 2.0 can be perfectly combined with the optionally available Grip + Spikes mounting set. The set consists of a two-part assembly spanner and ten small spikes. The metal spikes are screwed into the designated areas in the sole of the shoe and provide additional grip on tree trunks.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Trekker Pro 2.0 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

walking in the clouds
my experience was positive with these boots. but there are some negative sides as well. the trekker pro 2.0 is so heavy. because use it Monday to Friday or Saturday and I walk a lot on big bu… my experience was positive with these boots. but there are some negative sides as well. the trekker pro 2.0 is so heavy. because use it Monday to Friday or Saturday and I walk a lot on big building sites (warehouse) I do feel how heavy at the end of the day. the other negative that I find is the leather, it is really hard to keep in good condition, I do clean and care for it regularly but it still breaks and tears after a year. ( it can be because of the clay) but for me, it is still highly rated. i wouldn't any other :)

Last pair lasted almost 10year until i finally gave up and bought another pair for my job as a patrol man on the rail in 2 and a bit years now and almost 3200 km of walking they are starting to crack will definitely be purchasing again the boots we get from employers last 6month if your lucky!

After 10 months of daily use as a field engineer working in various conditions these boots are unreal. Constantly in water, chemicals and diesel they're practically brand new. Really comfortable and easy to drive in and stand up yo any task. These boots are worth every penny!

OK but not an improvement on the old design
I have been wearing trekker pro boots for many years and have always rated them very highly. When it came to replace my old boots I was sad to see that the trekker pro is now not made and is replaced by the trekker pro 2.0. The boot is now made with stitched leather instead of one piece, it remains to be seen as to the longevity of the stitching but clearly one piece of leather was better. the tongue has changed and does not seem to come up as far as the old design although the addition of a hook on the tongue is a good idea. Overall the boots feel less comfortable than the old design which I always found to be comfortable straight out of the box. I probably wont buy another pair and wish Id bought a a few pairs of the old boot last time I got some. As always the fit is just right but I feel the boot is not an improvement.

Solid boots
Went for these boots over the pair I normally get, even though they were more expensive, because I wanted something robust. I haven't been disappointed so far. These boots weigh about twice what my old pair did, but the have just dealt with all that they have needed to with any problems. A day of long wet grass wasn't an issue, with my feet staying dry. Days digging, no problem. I even wore them on a weekend of hill walking, without any issues. My only slight concern, is that the thickness of the leather might mean that my feet get too hot in the summer.
