Server log files

Use of Google reCAPTCHA 
Our website uses the reCAPTCHA service by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). The request serves to distinguish whether the input was made by a human or automatic machine processing. The request includes the submission of the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose your input will be transmitted to Google and used further there. Google will, however, shorten your IP address beforehand within the Member States of the European Union or other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website in order to assess your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA is not associated with any other data held by Google. Your data may also be transmitted to the USA. Transmission of data to the USA is covered by an adequacy decision by the European Commission, the “Privacy Shield”. Google participates in “Privacy Shield” and has submitted to its requirements. Customer account
When you open a customer account, we will collect your personal data in the scope given there. The data processing is for the purpose of improving your shopping experience and simplifying order processing. The processing will be carried out on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal. Your customer account will then be deleted.

Data collection when you post a comment 
When you comment on an article or a contribution, we collect your personal data (name, email address, comment text) only in the scope provided by you. The processing serves to allow you to comment and to display comments. By submitting the comment you agree to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing will be carried out on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal. You personal data will then be deleted.

On publication of your comment only the name you have entered will be published.

On submission of your comment your IP address will also be saved in order to prevent misuse of the comment function and to ensure the security of our IT systems. By submitting the comment you agree to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing will be carried out on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal. Your IP address will then be deleted.

Collection, processing, and use of personal data in orders 
When you submit an order, we only collect and use your personal data where this is necessary for the fulfilment and handling of your requests. The provision of data is necessary for conclusion of a contract. Failure to provide it will prevent the conclusion of any contract. The processing will occur on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is required for the fulfilment of a contract with you. We will not forward your data to third parties without your explicit consent. This only excludes our service partners which we require in order to handle the contractual relationship or service providers we use to process an order. Along with the recipients named in the clauses of this data protection declaration, these may be recipients in the following categories: Shipping providers, payment service providers, merchandise management service providers, service providers for order processing, web hosts, IT service providers and dropshipping dealers. We will comply strictly with legal requirements in every case. The scope of data transmission is restricted to a minimum. 

Newsletter 
You may subscribe to receive our newsletter free of charge. We will process your data (title, name, email address) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

You may subscribe to our newsletter on our website https://www.haix.dk/newsletter or by filling out our entry forms, e.g. when taking part in a raffle.

If you have expressly consented to receiving the newsletter, we will use your data (title, name, email address) for sending you information about products, promotions, raffles and news tailored (if possible) to your personal interests. “Promotions” mean voucher campaigns and discount campaigns.

This means that if you subscribe to our newsletter, we will collect device and access data that are generated during your interaction with a newsletter. This is our way to prove that you did in fact subscribe and to detect any misuse of your email address. In addition, it allows us to retrace if and when you have opened which issue of a newsletter. Individually recommended products (direct marketing)
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will use your data (title, name, email address, date of birth) for sending you product recommendations and information about various promotions based on your interests. Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

For sending individual product recommendations by email, we will primarily use your previous shopping and interest data, in accordance with statutory provisions. By taking into account the interests, preferences and profile data (e.g. when purchasing a product) communicated to us, we can derive the products you might be interested in.

If you tell us your date of birth, there is a chance for you to receive a voucher for your birthday. The voucher will be sent to the email address indicated by you.

In case you do not want to receive our individual product recommendations by email anymore, you may exercise your rights as a data subject at any time and revoke your consent without the lawfulness of the consent-based data processing effected until such revocation being affected thereby. Raffles
The personal data you disclosed when participating in a raffle (title, name, email address, address) will exclusively be used for carrying out the raffle. We use your phone number exclusively to send our own marketing via WhatsApp, if you have explicitly agreed to this. By registering for our WhatsApp newsletter you agree to the storage of your phone number and to receive marketing via WhatsApp. Processing will be carried out on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by contacting us or deregistering from the WhatsApp list. We will not forward your phone number to third parties and will use it exclusively to send our own advertising. The other subscribers to our newsletter also will not see your phone number and cannot send you any WhatsApp messages, because it is not a group but a broadcast list.

Data collection and processing as part of a credit check 
When paying in advance, e.g. by invoice or direct debit, we reserve the right to obtain a credit report on the basis of mathematical and statistical processes using 

CRIF GmbH, Leopoldstraße 244, 80807 München. For this purpose we will transmit the personal data required for a credit assessment to the above company and use the information received on the statistical likelihood of a payment default for a balanced decision on the justification, execution or termination of the contractual relationship. The credit check can include probability values (score values) which are calculated on the basis of scientifically recognised mathematical and statistical procedures, taking address information among other things into account. We use the chat service from Olark by Habla, Inc. 245 Ramona St. Palo Alto, CA 94301. This tool allows our website visitors to chat directly with HAIX staff and get questions answered. During the chat connection, the location, IP address, browser and visited website will be displayed. After the connection has ended, we have no access to this data. On our website, data is collected and saved using the technologies of Bing Ads from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.
