HAIX FIREFIGHTER'S BOOTS WITH GORE-TEX EXTRAGUARD
The EXTRAGUARD outer fabric sets new standards for theÂ
FIRE EAGLE 2.0 EXG and FIRE EAGLE 2.0 EXG: it is lightweight, dries quickly after use in wet conditions, and offers protection against common chemicals, viruses and blood. Whether during floods, long firefighting operations or a road accident in wet weather, firefighters are often required to work in wet environments. Personal protective equipment must therefore meet specific requirements. The three-layer EXTRAGUARD upper material is particularly robust and abrasion-resistant, yet lighter than conventional leather, whilst absorbing virtually no moisture from the outside. This means that the boot retains its light weight even after prolonged use in wet conditions and that the wearer’s feet remain warm and dry. The firefighting boot can be easily cleaned under running water; there is no need to use special care products such as those used for leather boots.
